Edito Mars 2012
- Maya Mourad

The Truth Behind The Journal !
We figured that since this is the very first issue that an explanation was required and here it is:
So, most of you might be thinking that this is silly, but when it comes down to reality, we are the ones who have the guts to say what all of you are thinking of, or feeling, but were unable to express it!
Before judging our achievement, just think of how much hard work, commitment and effort we have put into it. So the least you can do is to show it a little respect (and by that we mean do not throw it or set it on fire before really reading it).
On The Job.
Coming up with the idea of the magazine was quite easy, but making it happen was harder than we thought; as we had to seek a teacher who would support our project, then expose it to our school principal, who was very supportive, helpful, and encouraging by approving our project and by offering the means to finance it!
After that, things went smoother and we started writing our articles which helped us discover our own writing potential. However, finding the right subjects and the themes was quite difficult because we had to take into consideration everybodys likings and interests. So, we sincerely hope you’ll enjoy our monthly published magazine and please take your time while exploring it!
Let’s be clear on one thing though, we aren’t writing this to cause any trouble or start a revolution or anything of the sort, we’re doing it because we wanted to diffuse our passions and share them through our own words whether it’s in French or English or Arabic! And we hope you’ll take advantage of this opportunity to share your passions or issues (anonymously if you like) too.
This project started when three girls decided to take initiative and express themselves. Then, a lot of people who were interested joined our little group such as Maya Mourad, who helped us enormously, along with Noura Chami, Diana Fadlallah, Ghida Daoud, Ribal Bou Mjahed and Kareem Bahlawan.
Let’s hope we haven’t forgotten anyone!
Anyway, just like these people, you can participate or just help as well by sending us your work ( poems, drawings, jokes,…) or writing us articles…

In conclusion, our main goal is to inform you on your surroundings, just like we wish to create a connection between students and our school as well as our school administrative bureau! We aspire that you’ll adopt this just like we did, but, if you don’t, feel free to share your opinion and your suggestions of improvements with us by emailing us on [email protected].
Best regards,
Yours truly : Léa Merhi, Tala Fleyfel & Rayan Tannir.
